- Are you still seeking for a reason to use Edge instead of other browsers?
- Microsoft, on the other hand, may have just made your decision a lot simpler.
- The tech behemoth is now experimenting with a new Game panel inside the browser.
- For the time being, this new amazing function is only accessible to a select few Insiders.
Remember how we said the Redmond-based tech behemoth is going all out to urge consumers to adopt Edge instead of other browsers?
Yes, Microsoft is attempting to prevent consumers from exercising their freedom to choose and ditching Edge in favor of Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or even Brave.
Developers have discovered a new, appealing feature that they aim to include into the popular browser in order to persuade consumers that Edge is the best option.
A new Games panel for Edge is presently being tested by Microsoft.
Many of the key features of the Chromium-based browser are shared with Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers.
So, when it comes to choose which browser to use every day, it’s basically a question of personal choice. However, because Microsoft’s marketing has gotten so frantic, it seems that many people are refusing to use Edge.
Among other things, it seems that the IT giant is working on introducing a Games panel to Edge, among other things.
Edge Canary now includes an Appearance option via which you can add a Games button to the omnibar, right next to your address bar, according to the Redditor who discovered this new feature.
When you activate this toggle, clicking the Games button will open a panel on the right side of your browser window that will display a list of games, many of which are from MSN Games.
Of course, they’re grouped into categories like Microsoft classics, Arcade, Board & Card, Puzzle, Sports, Casual, and others.
As a result, after you’ve made your decision and clicked on the appropriate game, it will start right into your browser.
But don’t get too excited just yet, since the Games panel is only available for a limited number of users on Microsoft Edge Canary.
You must first be an Insider and then download the newest version of Edge Canary if you want to be among the first to check it out and participate in testing this new feature.
It’s unknown when this feature will find its way to the stable channel since it’s currently in the testing phase.
Also, since we’re discussing the newest Canary versions, keep in mind that Edge’s Web Capture function will work with PDF files as well.
